Press release from Carroll County Public Schools: Bowers, Brenda Tuesday, March 22, 2022 The Special Education Citizen's Advisory Committee (SECAC) is now accepting nominations for its Recognition and Appreciation Awards Night, which will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. in the Carroll Community College Scott Center. The awards recognize an individual or team who has gone above and beyond expectations in helping to contribute to the growth, well-being, and happiness of students with disabilities. Families or students may nominate CCPS staff members or an outside agency or group for Appreciation Awards. CCPS staff may nominate other staff members for Recognition Awards. Click here for the nomination form. Nominations may be submitted by email or U.S. mail and must be received by Friday, April 29, 2022. No nominations will be accepted after this date. All nominees will be honored at the awards night on May 19. Nominators also are welcome to attend and will be asked to come forward with the person or team as their nomination is read.
