Enjoy an elegant night featuring a silent auction, music, live performance, and refreshments while supporting local African American artists. "The Black Art Showcase celebrates the immense talent Prince George's County has to offer." said Tristan Colding, Program Specialist with the Department of Parks and Recreation, Prince George's County. "We hope to not only elevate Prince Georgian's experiences of art but also stress the importance it has to our youth." Artwork from seven local artists will be on display and available to purchase in a silent auction. Proceeds from this showcase will go towards free art developmental workshops to enrich young African American artists throughout Prince George's County.
