Press release from Salt Lake County District Attorney: March 18, 2022 This morning the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office filed charges against Hoayu Wang. The Charges are as follows: -Count 1: Murder (First Degree Felony) -Count 2: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Second Degree Felony) -Count 3: Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute (Third Degree Felony) "This is a tragic case said Salt Lake County DA Sim Gill. Our Office intends to do everything in our power to bring a measure of justice for the victim and their family. We have met with the family and ask that their privacy please be respected as they deal with their loss." These are allegations, Haoyu Wang is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
