Do you know any incoming highschool freshmen, sophomores, or juniors who are interested in helping their community, learning about local government, or building civic engagement? The Broomfield Teen Council is an excellent opportunity for civic minded teens to work with their peers and the Broomfield City Council to craft modern solutions to real world issues in Broomfield. The City and County of Broomfield is currently recruiting 8 new members for the 2022 - 2023 Broomfield Teen Council.
This is an excellent opportunity for teens that are interested in activism, local government, learning how to affect meaningful change in their communities and addressing some of the pressing issues of our time. The City and County of Broomfield seeks to create a diverse council in both applicant background and political views, and encourages any interested teen to apply.
Members attend one monthly meeting and may have additional research or work to complete outside of meetings. Contact [email protected] with any questions. Interested teens can submit an application at Broomfield.org/TeenCouncil by April 17, 2022.
