Standard white poodle male, 11 months old. Loving, gentle, and loves to cuddle. Not fixed. Born on 04/07/2021 Loves to be with the owner. Housebroken. He is very smart, loyal, and devoted. Sleeps by my feet no matter what room I am in. At night sleeps by my bed. He is kennel trained, but hasn't been kenneled for several months now, as he sleeps at night by my bed and goes outside at 5 am "for bathroom break" and then back inside for a couple more hours. Should he need to go to the bathroom, he just gently touches my arm with his nose to let me know he needs to go outside. He is very attentive to how you are feeling and will reflect that. He loves to run! And he IS FAST!!! LOOOOVES to swim and get in the mud as well! Rides great in the car: In the front seat, watching through the window, all the way there and back. He is a gentle soul. Not a mean bone in his body: wants to please you and be with you. Loves to sleep on the sofa. He prefers a cooler temperature when inside. He has his pillow from PetSmart to sleep on, yet he prefers to lay on the floor, as it is in picture 2... maybe cooler that way? (Picture 1: he is on the farm: he loves to run and get into the mud :)... washing and lots of it is required :) ) Grew up with our kids and is good with them. Grew up with a cat: they eat and sleep together. Never chased our cat, maybe because our cat always puts on a chasing game... do not know how he will act with other cats. He does "Think" if and when he decides to obey you: While he responds great to a loving training, (took just a couple of tries for commands "SIT, the same for "LAY down"...) one thing I noticed about him, he does think: he makes a decision and then does it. While that is a cute trait, and he absolutely still needs training, as he is only 11 months old, I want to make sure you understand he is not a police/ military-type dog with immediate obedience. If you can not handle a dog that sometimes wants to do things on his own terms, then he is not for you! Will be rehomed to a GREAT home only. Looking for a permanent home for him. Someone who is home a lot, or stay at home, or working from home. Poodles are family dogs and can NOT be left alone for a long time. Rehoming fee is asked, he is NOT free. Up to date on all vaccines. He is chipped. A couple of weeks ago got a haircut. I will interview and ask questions to make sure you are a great match, I think he'll make someone a happy owner, but want to make sure that you can : provide a permanent home.
