Gaston SC

Description

Location: Gaston, South Carolina Name: Caesar (Black) / Artemis (White, Brown) Age: Caesar (10) / Artemis (7) Breed: Caesar is a Chantilly-Tiffany (also known as a Foreign Longhair). Artemis is a Domestic Shorthair mix. M/F: Both are Male Spayed/Neutered/Shots: They've both been fixed to my knowledge, but it's been a long time since they've been to the vet. I don't think their shots are up to date. Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: Both are good with other cats, though Caesar may have issues with another dominant male. Caesar acts like a sweet boss, and Artemis goes with the flow and is super lovable. They've gotten along with my father's dog and my mother's cats in the past. I've never seen them around kids. Caesar is overweight and Artemis is obese. Aggression or medical issues?: Caesar's vocal and smart. He only gets super irritated when being transported in a cat carrier (he despises it, hissing will happen). I've never seen Artemis act aggressively in any way. Reason for rehoming?: I'm posting this on behalf of my brother, they were both his. His landlord decided pets were no longer allowed and my brother couldn't find another place within budget to go that would allow them. He would've been kicked out had he not given them up. Would you like rescue help?: They're medically stable as far as I know, but it's very overwhelming to be taking care of this many animals at once. If they can't be rehomed right away, then another foster home would be necessary. House/crate trained?: Yes for both Additional info/story: My father and I are currently fostering them, but we both already have pets of our own and it's become overwhelming. We would love to see them both go to a great home as they are very sweet, long-term pets. I'm posting them together (hope that's allowed) because Artemis grew up with Caesar since he was a kitten. I would hate to see them separated. My brother has had them for years and they're both very loving. For my brother's sake, I really want to see them go to a great home. ⚠️FREE TO A GOOD HOME⚠️
