Click here to learn more. Here are the top three stories in Charleston today: The College of Charleston will host the sixth annual German-American Business Summit on Mar. 29, 2022. The event will start at 9:30 a.m. in the Stern Center Ballroom with a panel discussing soft skills and global impacts. The event will end with a networking reception in the President's House Gardens at 4:30 p.m. (Holy City Sinner)The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has arrested Douglas Everett Stevenson, 49-years-old, on four counts of soliciting a minor. The man was caught attempting to convince an undercover detective to have sex with him. The undercover detective was solicited on social media while portraying a 13-year-old girl. (WTMA)Deputies with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office are trying to identify a suspect in a fatal hit and run. The incident occurred Monday night and the office has released surveillance video and photos to the public. Anyone with information related to the case is being instructed to contact the Sheriff's Office or Crime Stoppers.
