PORTSMOUTH, RI — For the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the Boston Marathon is back on its normal date. Following last year's fall race, Marathon Monday will be April 18. Five runners from Portsmouth will compete in this year's race, three women and two men. See the full list below. Kevin Callahan, 65Kelsi Chappell, 33Maura Driscoll, 21Jon Lawson, 50Kara Ann Niewohner, 44 The marathon was held last October, following the postponement and eventual cancellation of the 2020 race. This year's race, the 126th Boston Marathon, will be held on Patriots Day, as is tradition.
