PHILADELPHIA — Just days after finding the remains of a Delaware County man who had been missing for nearly 20 years, a team of popular YouTube divers is scouring the Schuylkill River in search of a missing couple.
Adventures with Purpose has moved on to the case of missing couple Danielle Imbo and Richard Petrone.
The couple was last seen leaving a bar on South Street in Philadelphia back on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005.
The Mt. Laurel, New Jersey woman and Philadelphia man got into his truck and were not seen again, according to the group.
NBC10 reports the group was diving near Temple University's boathouse and the Strawberry Mansion Bridge on the river this week.
According to NBC10, Tuesday's dive marked the fourth time Adventures with Purpose has worked on the Imbo-Petrone case.
The group previously searched the Delaware River after getting a tip on a location along the river that may offer clues into the couple's disappearance.
The investigation into Imbo and Petrone's disappearance remains open and active, the FBI stated on its website.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Citizens Crime Commission tip line at 215-546-8477. Callers do not have to give their names.
There is a $50,000 reward for information that leads to finding Imbo and Petrone, or the arrest of those person or persons responsible for their disappearance, the FBI said.
Adventures With a Purpose, founded in 2019, has helped solve 19 missing-persons cases and found more than 100 missing vehicles.
The group is funded by donations and merchandise sales.
