WOODBURY, MN — Jersey Mike's locations throughout Minnesota, including two in Woodbury, are set to donate 100 percent of their March 30 sales to support Special Olympics Minnesota.
More than 250 people from around the Woodbury area teamed up in February to raise $67,902 with a Polar Plunge at Carver Lake Beach. That means the Woodbury Polar Plunge has raised almost $750,000 for Special Olympics Minnesota across eight years.

Jersey Mike's two Woodbury shops will donate their sales next week to send help more than 100 Minnesota athletes to compete in the Special Olympics in Florida this summer.
All Jersey Mike's Minnesota locations are set to donate their March 30 sales, according to the sandwich-shop chain.

This is the first year that the chain is donating 100 percent of its proceeds to a single cause or organization. The company said it hopes to raise more than $15 million to break last year's record.
Jersey Mike's "Day of Giving" on March 30 is part of the company's "Month of Giving," which started in 2011. The company said it has raised more than $47 million for local charities since then.
