BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Bucks County Transportation Management Authority is working with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation this spring on a survey to gather information from Bucks County commuters who utilize Interstate-95. TMA Bucks is assisting PennDOT and the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission in getting an idea of what commute patterns will look like over a few months for city-bound workers who live in Bucks County. The survey is completely anonymous, and will help TMA Bucks collect information on residents' commuting habits that will help PennDOT plan future construction and outreach related to I-95 reconstruction projects. The Commute 95 Return To Office Spring Survey is linked here. Questions focus around telecommuting, return to office timelines, and comfort with SEPTA, among other issues impacting commuting in our area. A similar survey was conducted during summer 2021, to assist PennDOT with collecting commuting data during a gradual restoration of "normal activity" during the COVID-19 pandemic. TMA Bucks is leading this initiative under a contract with PennDOT to support ongoing work to reconstruct Interstate 95 for its entire length within the City of Philadelphia.
