HACKETTSTOWN, NJ – Voting in the New Jersey primary election has ended after polls closed at 8 p.m. in an already-delayed election in which voting took place by mail due to the coronavirus pandemic. Due to the nature of the historic election, results are not expected Tuesday night.
In the Hackettstown Mayoral race, Republican Gerald DiMaio, a sitting councilman, is running for his party's nomination. Incumbent councilmen Leonard Kunz and Eric Tynan have also filed to take another shot at the dais.
