Press release from the Mobile Museum of Art: March 22, 2022 The Mobile Museum of Art is hiring two full-time guards. This position is responsible for maintaining the security of exhibitions, equipment, buildings, and grounds of a city museum against unlawful or disturbing acts, building art display cases, and giving information and directions to visitors. Museum guards are trained by museum staff to understand specifics of changing exhibitions, special programs and classes, museum property, and protocols. Please note that one position is for the day shift/rotating schedule and the other position is for the third shift. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, and a minimum of one-year related work experience; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
