Fostered Pitbull Looking For Home

Description
(If the post is up, he is still available) Maverick was rescued from the Lancaster pound on March 4th and he is now looking for his forever home! Maverick is a 75 ib, 2-year-old, Pit Bull who has the most beautiful, unique blue brindle coat. He is absolutely stunning, both inside and out. He is one of the sweetest dogs I've come across (and I've worked and lived with dogs my entire life). He showers you with love and wants to be your little shadow. He needs a strong pack leader but if you're it, he will listen! I can leave my food on the floor and if I tell him, 'No', he won't touch it. I'm even struggling to write this post right now because he thinks he's a lap dog and won't get off of my lap. He's learning new commands daily and currently knows sit, down, wait, and come (we're in the process of learning place). He'll sit and patiently wait until you give him the 'okay' to eat his food. He's pretty good on a leash, he tends to walk next to me, but can bark and get excited at certain dogs/people if we come across them. However, for the most part, he does very well. A post on craigslist can only say so much, if you're interested to know more you're welcome to call or text and I'll go into All The Details on how hilarious and loving he can be. With all of this said, he likely had a not-so-great upbringing because he does show signs of fear aggression to people he doesn't know. So slow introductions and patience are required (more so with men than women). However, I've enrolled him in training which begins April 10, and there is a subsequent lesson the following weekend. Which I intend to keep and pay for, at no cost to the person who wishes to have him. But, I cannot stress this enough, he's unbelievably sweet to the people he trusts and loves. He had good play notes from the pound with other large dogs, but he is best as an only dog as he has been reactive to them since rescue. He has about medium energy. He likes to lounge around all day but in the mornings and evenings, he will get the zoomies and play with his toys. He needs his walks daily to release his energy. Maverick's been neutered recently and is potty trained, does not mark inside the house (or at all), has no issues with humping, and is a wonderful guard dog as well (he will protect his people). As his owner, you could not ask for a better dog within the house. He's above loyal, will guard his person, and is sweet to you. An owner with previous dog experience is definitely required because of his past. He will have a rehoming fee as well because I want to make sure a good home is in the future for Maverick. If you want more photos/videos (or better quality ones, they uploaded poorly to Craiglist) please let me know. If you have any questions, please text. Thank you!
