Special Needs Arts Programs, Inc., (SNAP) is excited to start their Children’s art class on Saturdays at the Lexington Community Center. This class is for ages 5-12 and runs through May 7th at 1pm. SNAP Art Director Lidija Vukovic is leading the class. Lidija has several degrees in art, is an exhibiting artist and has her M.Ed. in Special Education. Art projects are very imaginative, encouraging children to see how everyday objects can be transformed into beautiful and interesting art. Building on existing strengths and encouraging the development of new skills, children will have the opportunity to flex their creative muscles and share their perspective through their creations.
