LANDSCAPING Full-Time Mondays through Fridays 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM San Diego Area RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: • Operate edger, string trimmer, blower, and lawn mower. • Quickly push/pull/ride lawn mowers on flat, sloped, and uneven terrain. • Clean-up rubble, debris, and other waste. • Performs other manual duties as directed. • Keeps tools and equipment in good repair. • Attends all schedule team member meetings and trainings. • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines. • Must be able to work around excessive noise (chainsaws, chipper, trucks, and other equipment). • Must withstand long hours under the sun, high temperatures (100+ degrees), and expose to nature like irritating plants, biting and stinging insects. • Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained. • Expected to work as a team to pull trees, brushes, and dig holes (The use a shovel). • Must be able to work on rough/uneven terrain. • Must be able to lift/drag/pull tree limbs and brush up to 50+ pounds on your own. • Able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity working environment. • Other tasks and duties as assigned from time to time. EXPERIENCE • Experience working with landscaping machines preferred. • 1 to 2 years’ experience in commercial areas. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE • Knowledge and proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions. • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
