Sewing Machine Operator / Custom Upholstery / Production Assistant We're looking to grow our family business with experienced professionals. Job Description: King Marine Canvas is actively seeking skilled Sewing Machine Operators, Professional Canvas and Upholstery Technicians, as well as Production Assistants. We are a family owned and established custom canvas shop (40 years) with a large customer base in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound area. We're committed to quality and dependability. Looking for highly motivated individuals who can work within an experienced team. Professional experience is preferred, but not required. We can train those who are new to the industry and looking to grow their skill set. Shop Location: Interbay / Magnolia Job Type / Schedule: Full-Time position. Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities available. Salary / Benefits: Pay based upon experience and performance. Medical, Vacation and Bonus opportunities available. Qualifications / General Responsibilities: • Open to training highly motivated individuals • Preferred 5-10 years experience with cutting and sewing fabrics. • Manufacture raw goods into finished products - help cut or sew during production • Support off site installation and delivery • Attention to detail and precise measurements are required • Ability to use hand tools as well as operate power tools • Must be able to organize workflow, meet customer needs and production deadlines • Ability to prioritize orders as the shop schedule changes **Beneficial, but not a requirement** • Experience with building furniture or reupholstery • Professional experience with creating custom patterns or templates • Experience with garment alterations or tailoring • Professional experience with installation and off-site delivery Hiring Process: • Openings available immediately for in-person interviews • Performance trial may be determined for inexperienced individuals
