Maintenance Technician and Handyman for Property Management Company

Growing Property Management and Real Estate company is looking for a self motivated and driven individual, who has a strong background in residential maintenance and handyman work. We have an opening for a maintenance technician who will be tasked with managing the day-to-day maintenance repair requests, as well as rent ready unit turns. Responsible include but not limited to: Interior and exterior residential property repairs, maintenance and improvements Replacing plumbing fixtures, Fixing leaks Snaking sink and main drains Installing cabinets and countertops Repairing/installing doors & trim, Basic carpentry Work turning over units between tenants Light HVAC repair Painting and drywall work. Tracking hours worked. Retaining receipts for materials purchases. Completing work order paperwork. Coordinating with team members. This role provides some flexibility in daily schedule and we provide an attractive work arrangement to our maintenance personnel, including mileage reimbursement Full Time (40 Hours a Week) Overtime and on call pay Benefits Mileage compensation Paid National holidays 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Position Requirements: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience with property and or building maintenance, repairs and improvement Background Check Required Valid drivers license General assortment of basic tools for maintenance- Some tools can be provided Must have own transportation (reliable vehicle, truck preferred)
