Are you a decent drummer who wants to play and record original rock music? Are you available for weekly rehearsals and occasional gigs in the Eugene area? Do you like being a positive part of the local music scene? We are House of Dorothy Gale, an alternative, grunge-rock band with a good and growing set list, a couple of recent gigs, and more to come. Unfortunately, our drummer is leaving in June for an out-of-state job. In the hopes of a smooth transition, we are starting to look for a new band member now. We get along well, take our music (but not ourselves) seriously, regularly exchange ideas and learn from one another, are low drama, and have day jobs and families so understand the need to be flexible. Whether you are an active player with band experience, set down the sticks a while ago and are thinking about dusting them off, or have mainly played on your own but think it is time to take it to the next level, if you are interested, let us know.
