looking for an experienced independent Handy / Maintenance man for 64 Unit Apartment building Must have a minimum of 3 years experience Position Requirements: Three or more years of experience in the following: Plumbing: Stoppages / replacing seats and stems, toilets, pipes, water heater replacement Electrical: replacing switches, outlets, and GFI’s, installing lighting Painting Drywall (able to match the texture)Tape/mud/finish Carpentry: repairing and or replacing doors, Installing cabinets Tile install and repairs Window Heating and Air Conditioning repair and or replace Trash out vacant Units and getting them rent-ready in a timely matter Vertical blinds installation A plus: Vinyl, tile, carpet floor installation Appliance repairs Welder / Fabricator Helpful Our ideal candidate must possess the following attributes: Dependable and reliable Must have a valid driver's license On-call night and weekend for emergencies Rate of pay based on experience with a Review after 90 days excellent and professional communication skills, professional appearance, drug testing, Must have own tools and transportation PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift 50 –100 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures. Must kneel, bend, crawl. Environmental working conditions may include (e.g. heat, cold, wind, and, rain)
