This is Poe! He is 14 weeks old. We've had him for about 6 was since he was 8wks old. He is a dachshund mixed with we believe Jack Russel Terrier. He is super sweet, energetic and LOVES to play, but he does love to cuddle up and be extra close to you (he has some separation issues with me when he's in his crate- its a work in progress). He is great with kids (a little nippy but he IS a puppy. He's also gotten a bit better about it, but if he gets going, he can tend to get carried away and chomp down kinda hard when hes excited- normal puppy stuff!). He is ok with cats and so curious, but he loves to pester my poor cat and will nip and jump all over him every single time he sees him. My cat can't properly defend himself (he's 12 and was a rescue- he was declawed when we got him) and it's stressing him out. This cat has never gone outside the box and has begun to pee in weird places in protest of Poe (since that's about the precise moment he started). Unfortunately, this sweet adorable little dude just is not fitting in here. He's a bit too rambunctious for my older pups, too (12 and 6) and when he gets carried away with them and they warn him, he doesn't stop. It's been creating some pretty bad scuffles. This house just wasn't ready for a puppy and I regret thinking that it was seeing how much its affecting them all. We are looking for a home for Poe where he will fit in a little better and not stress out someone else's other established pets as much. I admit it was a mistake and I thought my crew would be ok with it, but sadly they're not. He has not had any shots yet (my son had gotten sick and I had to cancel- forgot to reschedule him and it's been hectic). Asking a rehoming fee. He will come with an insanely large bag of 4Health puppy food that will last you awhile, his food dish (he chewed his water dish so we just have given him water from my big dogs shared bowl), collar, leash, toys, 100+ puppy pads and crate.
