CHADDS FORD TOWNSHIP, PA — A Chester County winery is reaching out to customers who may have had contact with an employee who's tested positive for Covid-19.
Chaddsford Winery announced of Friday that it would limit sales at its main winery in Chadds Ford to curbside pickup and online orders, for the next two weeks, because an employee had tested positive for Covid-19.
The winery stated, "While this decision exceeds state and local guidelines, we feel that it's the safest, most responsible way to protect the health and safety of our staff and guests."
Chaddsford Winery also said that during the two weeks of limited sales, the employee and all employees with known exposure would quarantine for 14 days and the facility will be professionally cleaned and sanitized.
"We're also reaching out to those who visited recently to notify them of their potential contact with this employee," the winery said on social media. The winery has table service when it is fully operational.
"We look forward to hosting you again when outdoor table service resumes on Friday, Aug. 21." The winery said, "We can't thank you enough for your understanding and support as we collectively navigate these challenges together."
