Positions: Event Security / Event Staff Location: Austin, TX Date of Next Available Post: 3/26/2022 Pay Rate: $20hr - Event Security Pay Rate: $18hr - Event Staff NLS is looking for both event security and various event staffing positions for various events throughout the year. Full time & Part time positions available starting April 1st. We have the following dates & times available ASAP: Saturday - 3/26 6:30pm - 11pm Friday - 4/1 Various Times Saturday 4/2 Various Times Essential Functions ● Appear on post in accordance with uniform requirements and fitness for duty. ● Maintain awareness at all times. ● Remain well-informed of security orders, and procedures at all times. ● Stand post as a deterrent to any person seeking access controlled area ● Take reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visiting personnel, and client assets. ● Observe and monitor the actions of persons considering entering the secured area. ● Report to management all unusual or suspicious activity. ● Seek supervisory input when necessary ● Provide assistance to customers, employees and visitors with courtesy and professionalism. ● Other related duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications ● High School Diploma or GED ● Must be at least 18 years of age. ● U.S. citizen, U.S. National or lawful permanent resident ● Must be able to perform all functions of the job. ● Must demonstrate ability to learn operations and procedures. ● Must be able to carry out instructions provided in written or oral form. ● Must be neat, well-groomed and present a professional appearance. ● Able to meet any special qualifications set forth in post orders or other relevant protocols and directives.
