Construction Laborer Responsibilities: Operate and care for construction equipment and machines. Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary. Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. Load or unload construction materials. Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as scaffolding. Remove, fill, or compact earth. Traffic Control Stop, slow, and safely direct traffic through work or construction sites. Protect workers in the construction zone by regulating traffic flow. Give traffic control directions and signals clearly and precisely so that motorists understand their meaning. Keep the flow of traffic moving with as few delays as possible. Elevator Operator An elevator operator is responsible for transporting people through different floors of an establishment by operating the buttons or lever of an elevator. Elevator operators must also know the building's directory to assist the guests of their inquiries and concerns, sending them to the right floor of the appropriate department and personnel. They also work closely with the maintenance team, conducting preventive measures to ensure the safety and security of the elevator and immediately call for repairs on any defects.
