We at Mescal Canyon Retreat B&B are seeking a Live-In Care Taking Couple to help on our rural property in beautiful North Central Arizona. We have developed this property over the past 38 years and are seeking assistance with the care taking, property maintenance/landscaping and the bed & breakfast. 20.5-Acre High Desert Property, adjacent to National Forest, includes: the Owners’ Main House, a 1-Bedroom Casita, 2 Bed and Breakfast Rooms (in separate Stone Building), a Communal B&B Building (The Canyon Studio), Architect’s Office, Workshop/ Dance/Yoga Studio, Outdoor Patios/Courtyards, Large Organic Garden/Compost/Chickens, Vineyard, Native & Xeric Landscaping, Hot Tub Terrace and Small Pool Area. The entire property is “off the grid” and all buildings are Passive Solar. Living Quarters for Caretaker(s) include a 950 s.f., 2 story, 1-Bedroom with a Study, Passive Solar Stone Casita, for which Owners would like to trade rent ($900/month) for property maintenance, gardening, work in the small vineyard and help with the B&B. Additional salary is offered for ongoing work projects. Caretaker(s) must be environmentally conscious, organized, neat, energetic, team players, have a flexible schedule & understand sustainability. Experience in Organic Gardening, Landscaping & Building Maintenance as well as housekeeping and help with B&B Guests are all required (all food is vegetarian).
