This position will require attention to detail, communication skills, and basic agility skills. This position reports directly to the Lead Building Engineer Supervisor and Property Managers. Work Schedule: • 40 hours each week Monday – Friday 6:30AM – 3:30 PM (1hr lunch) Education, Certifications, & License: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. • Valid driver's license required. Preferred Experience: • 2+ years preferred experience maintaining mid high-rise commercial and office environment properties, or multifamily properties. Required skills and job duties: • Sweeping, mopping, dusting, power washing, painting, vacuuming, window washing, and ladder work required for high area cleaning and vacuuming. • Assist Building Engineers with commercial appliance, lighting, and basic plumbing repairs, trouble shooting, and minor installations. • Painting – basic touch up experience and graffiti removal as needed. Other Requirements: • Well-groomed and clean appearance always. • Must have reliable vehicle transportation and active driver's insurance policy. • Must speak, read, and write in the English language. • Ability to use a computer: required for emails, submitting work hours, and work order system. • Must be able to climb and work safely on 14ft. ladders, lift 50+ lbs., stand and or stoop for long periods of time.
