Description
We are rehoming a 2.5-year-old beagle/collie mix to a good home. He is up-to-date with all care and vaccinations and received a clean bill of health from the vet at his last appointment in December (including rabies).
He is a very sweet, docile, loving and cuddly dog, who loves a good rub down and lives for snuggling close. Unfortunately, he does not get along with our older, working dog (she is very bossy and dominating, so it's definitely her issue, not his!). He loves kids, is calm and passive, and has never been aggressive or shy of other dogs or people. He is well-behaved when left alone for a few hours.
He is not neutered, and does wander a bit, especially in spring/summer, if you don't keep an eye on him or if he's off-leash. He is house-broken, and sits on command, and (mostly) comes on command, too.
He would do best in a situation where he gets lots of love and cuddles, and has a companion (person or dog) who is home much of the day or can take him along to work if gone for more than 3-4 hours.
Two personal references will be required from any interested parties--and you must be able to show that you either own your home or have a lease that expressly allows dogs.
We will provide a leash, collar, and the first few days of food, plus all vet records.
Email only. Please let us know when you'd like to meet him!
