As a Service Technician, you will repair washers and dryers at various customer locations. An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working independently and has a very strong mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities: Service washers and dryers at apartments, laundromats, hotels, athletic facilities, etc. Disassembles machines and examines mechanical and electrical parts. Reassembles appliances, adjusts pulleys, and lubricates moving parts. Replaces worn or defective parts and adjusts motors. Cleans and washes parts. Advises Dispatch Department of equipment in the field that should be replaced with new equipment. Drives a Company vehicle to and from work locations. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Good driving record. Customer service skills. Must possess effective English communication skills (oral and written). Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are desirable. Possess at least two solid years of mechanical experience and electrical knowledge (and/or training) Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
