Description

iPourIt is the leading self-serve beer and premium wine technology company. We are currently looking for an equipment installer to join our great team in our Lake Forest, CA corporate office. The right candidate is someone with a technical mindset, good with tools (drills, hammers, etc.) and good communication skills. Extensive travel to client locations is required - we are currently installed all around the US. Ideal candidate would be an experienced cable installer, low voltage installer, network installer, sound equipment or audio/visual installer. No beer dispensing knowledge is necessary, we will teach you that so you can help the clients. However, you won't actually be installing beer dispensing equipment; it's already done by the time you arrive onsite. If you know how to run network cables, troubleshoot wiring, love to travel, and enjoy working with a young, fun team, then please keep reading. You will also be part of an off hours on-call rotation for 24/7 support of our clients. The typical life cycle of an install consists of the following: • Discussions with the beer installer to make sure they understand what they need to do to ensure a good pour with our system • Constant contact with our internal project coordinator to ensure the project stays on track • Upon arrival at the job site you will do a quick inspection that everything has been completed and ready for your install • Mounting network switches. • Attaching screens above the taps. • Connecting network equipment to the screens • Mounting our controller box and running CAT5 cables from it our the beer control system. • Starting up the system and testing all of the taps • Training managers and staff Skills: • Detail oriented • Reliable person with good time management • Self- starter and motivated to learn and grow with the team • Analytic thinking for troubleshooting and problem solving • Ability to work within standard operating guidelines • Must be able to pass a background check for access to customer sites • Enjoys working in a fun, fast paced, hi-energy environment • Good communication and people skills • At least 3 years experience in one of the industries above. • Computer background (Do you know how to test if a device is up on a network? Do you know how to connect devices with CAT5? Could you terminate a CAT5 cable if necessary?) • Good with tools. (If asked to mount a wooden tablet holder to a tile wall, can you? Do you know how to drill through stainless steel?) You must be 21 years of age for this position. Please respond with your resume, salary expectations, and a cover letter telling us why you would be a good fit. To make sure you've read this far, also include your favorite beer in the cover letter and a statement saying you are at least 21 years old (but not your actual age). Please visit our website to see more information about our company and what we offer: www.ipouritinc.com. This is a salaried, full-time position.
