Well established Professional Pet Sitting Company has immediate openings for Vacation Pet Sitters and Overnight Stay sitters. Service areas are: Decatur, Intown Atlanta (above I-20), Brookhaven, and Sandy Springs areas. Candidates must live in one of the areas listed for consideration. Candidate must have a reliable car and cell phone. This is a part-time position. Please apply at www.petminders.com under the work with us tab. Info on Pet Sits: Vacation pet sits are 30 minute, in the clients home, visits that include walking for dogs, feeding, refreshing water, giving meds if needed, litter care for cats, play and petting time and bringing in the customers mail and newspaper. Vacation pet sits are scheduled 7 days a week, 365 days a year with holidays and typical vacation times being the busiest. Vacation pet sits for dogs typically occur between the hours of 7-9AM and 7-9PM with more flexibility on times with cats only sits. Overnight stays are 12 hour stays in a clients home - 7-8PM to 7-8AM Requirements for the Position: *You must LOVE Dogs and Cats!! *You own a Reliable car * You own a cell phone and have Internet access *You are physically able to walk dogs of all sizes, in all types of weather *You live in one of the service areas listed -- commuting does not work in this business *You are available for BOTH morning and evening visits for Vacation pet sitters *You are flexible in terms of scheduling *You are Mature, Professional and EXTREMELY dependable -- the pets count on you to be there for them *You possess good common sense are organized and able to work independently *You can commit to working through 2022, preferably longer -- pets get used to their sitters and don't like change *You are able to pass a background check for bonding purposes Prior pet care experience or pet ownership preferred.
