Description

WOODRIDGE, IL — The Woodridge Park District has closed parks, playgrounds, athletic fields and other spaces through April 30 as part of Governor J.B. Pritzker's ongoing stay-at-home order due to the new coronavirus. The closure also means leagues, events and the remainder of spring programs have been canceled. As of April 4, the park district's closure also shuttered tennis courts and pickleball courts. Basketball courts, skate parks and volleyball courts also remained closed to the public. In addition to the closures, the Woodridge Park District has canceled the remainder of its girls' softball league, WSA spring season and Totschool. Kids Thrill at the Hill, a run originally set for May 17, has also been canceled. Don't miss updates about precautions in the Chicago area as they are announced.
