The music I want to do is heavily influenced by Darkwave, Goth, etc. Bands like Switchblade Symphony and London After Midnight. Already talking to a couple female singers. I play keyboards. I've also played bass and guitars in previous projects. I want to start with you first, write some songs, then eventually look for a drummer. Maybe a bass player too. Not sure yet. Some other bands I like: Depeche Mode, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Athamay, Clan of Xymox, Closterkeller, Joy Division, New Order, Fading Colours, Bauhaus, Gitane Demone, Sisters of Mercy, The Wake, Nosferatu, Paralyzed Age, Christian Death, Eva O Halo, Artrosis, New Skin, Starlit (LA), Many of Odd Nature, Nekromantix, Misfits, The Damned, Horrorpops, Tom Waits, Jill Tracy, Dresden Dolls, Nick Cave, Birthday Massacre, Sohodolls, Deathstars, Grendel, Psyclon 9, 69 Eyes, Diva Destruction, Tre Lux, Ego Likeness, Phantogram, Portishead, Massive Attack, Bjork, Big Electric Cat, Cradle of Filth, Marilyn Manson, NIN, Rob Zombie, Type O Negative, Queen of the Damned soundtrack, Pink Floyd, Doors, She Wants Revenge, Hocico, Combichrist, The Dreamside, Lunascape, Cruxshadows, Desdemona, and so on. All these bands inspire me. Don't want to sound exactly like them. I want to do something original. I want to start by learning a Cure song and maybe Depeche Mode. We need something to jam on.
