With limited options for birth support, empowering yourself and your partner is critical.want This childbirth education class will consist of two 4-hour sessions and includes evidence-based information about each phase of pregnancy, understanding what normal birth looks is, what occurs during each stage of labor, the role and value of your partner, understanding possible medical interventions, the safety of your newborn, demonstrations on swaddling and soothing techniques of baby postpartum, and evidence-based benefits of breastfeeding. experienced Vanessa is a lay midwife and RN who has worked in Labor & Delivery, NICU, and pediatrics. She has attended many births (including both of mine). She is well-experienced and well-trained in various aspects of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Snacks and hydration will be provided.
