Join us for an afternoon with Nobel Peace Laureate, Kailash Satyarthi, meet with various community organizations, and more! Together with Kailash and local community organizations, hundreds of young leaders will spend the afternoon engaging in service and learning skills for creating compassionate and sustainable community change. (This event is eligible for SSL hours for students!) This is a public event open to people of all ages and backgrounds who care about building a more loving and peaceful world. In partnership with St. Andrew Orthodox Ukrainian Cathedral, we are collecting donation items (view list of items here.) ------------------------------------------------ PeaceJam is a global organization that unleashes the power of young people through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates. Kailash Satyarthi is a human rights activist who has been at the forefront of the global movement to end child slavery and exploitation. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 along with teenage education advocate Malala Yousafzai “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of children to an education.”
