Pine Knoll Nursing Center is seeking to hire general staff to work as a Housekeeper/Maintenance worker to work for our Skilled Nursing Facility located in Lexington Massachusetts. We are a small family owned and operated nursing center. Housekeeping Positions available include : Part Time Weekends We Will train the right Candidates Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing in the English Language Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that the cleaning and uptake of the assigned building is consistently and appropriately performed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with facility standards, procedures and policies -Observes waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy -Is able to follow directions from Directors and Administration -Assists in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment -Identifies and reports any equipment malfunction -Reports any observed area in poor repair -Dispenses soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies -Assist with laundry duties -Transport soiled laundry from resident units to main laundry -Respond to all residents, family members, and staff in a courteous, patient, and helpful manner We have all the necessary Personal Protective Equipment required and closely follow all Department of Public Health and CDC Guidelines for Covid-19. We are a Covid free building and provide free monthly testing.
