I have a home treadmill, but it doesn't work after two months of use.

Not sure where to post this, but I'll try here. Hope this doesn't get taken down. On January, I got a treadmill from eBay for my birthday. It was a generic/unbranded foldable treadmill from a seller. The seller is based in China, but apparently, they have warehouses in New Jersey and New York as well, hence why I got it a few days after ordering it. I've used it for roughly 2-3 months. Then this past Monday (March 21st), it stopped working. The conveyor belt on the treadmill won't move and it shows an error message. Unfortunately, the manual it came with doesn't explain how to troubleshoot the treadmill nor does it explain the error message or why the belt won't move. I contacted the seller on eBay for help and they said that the error is in the manual, but again, it isn't. It's not much of an instruction manual anyway. It's a tiny piece of paper called a quick start guide. I sent them another message and they've yet to respond back. I've Googled what could be the problem and it seems it might be needed for a repair. I don't have warranty for the treadmill, so I'm pretty much screwed in that part. Can anyone help me here? Anyone who lives in the NYC area, preferably the Bronx, can help fix my treadmill? I would really appreciate it. If not, I'll contact eBay directly about this situation. Maybe they'll help give me a refund.
