Join us to screen WNED PBS programs and tour the station! In celebration of the Erie County bicentennial, Buffalo Toronto Public Media is inviting our community to a free, public event at our WNED PBS Studios located in downtown Buffalo. Join us for tours of our station and studios. See where we shoot productions, broadcast live pledge, and bring you WBFO news reports! View our WNED Classical area and get a sneak peek at our new Classical performance space currently under construction! Stay awhile to watch some of our productions, featuring Erie County locations, on the big screen. We will be screening programs such as Kleinhans’ Gift to Buffalo, Oasis under Glass/Buffalo, Making Buffalo Home, Remembering Western New York, and Buffalo’s First Ward. Our popcorn machine WILL be up and running! HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES All attendees, including children over the age of 5, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer, Moderna), or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson). Children under the age of 5 are not permitted to attend.No exceptions will be made to the vaccine requirement, and a negative COVID test will not be accepted for entry. Children under the age of 5 who do not qualify for the vaccine will be required to wear a mask at all times. Attendees will need to present photo ID and proof of vaccination in the form of your physical CDC Vaccination Record card or your digital vaccination record before entering the building. New York residents can easily register for your digital vaccination record for access on your mobile device. Photographs of vaccination cards will not be accepted. Everyone will need to fill out a health screen survey the day of the event, prior to entering the building. Please complete the health screen survey prior to attending the event that day.Masks are not required, but recommended for all guests and staff inside our facility. We’ve installed an environmentally friendly clean air filtration system throughout our building to attack microbes both in the air and on surfaces. This system uses an innovative Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP™) to fight viruses, bacteria, mold, odors, and insects.There will be enhanced disinfecting of high-touch surfaces. Countertops, railings, restrooms, and seating areas will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.
