Psalm 77 sets the stage for this creative workshop on prayer. Colored markers and individual painted umbrellas adds a touch of whimsy. Come join us as we look at a man in scripture who started his plea to God in a state of deep distress and depression. But something happened between the beginning of his plea and the end of his plea and this man ended up in a completely different state of mind. As we study this man we also break out the colored markers, umbrellas and we model some things learned in scripture. This workshop looks at characteristics and attributes of God. It's a faith-based workshop but it's also a lot of fun and lighthearted. We laugh, we cry and we all go home being uplifted and renewed in our spirit. And I think we all can use some renewal in our world right now. Come refresh your spirit. Bring a friend who is hurting or just needs to be reminded of God's perfect faithfulness in all things. The cost of this workshop and materials fee is $30 and includes an Umbrella Prayers Workbook and hand painted umbrella. Scripture will be printed off for you. You don't need to bring anything.
