Join MUFON of Virginia (and their fans) Sunday March 27th, 2022, for a LIVE in-person event in Fairfax City with UFO Authors & Researchers! We're rocking the shamrocks and showcasing local UFO Authors & Researchers at a groovy meet-n-greet. Time to embrace spring and get out of the house! We're MUFON Virginia and we've got the lower level of The Auld Shebeen Irish Restaurant all to ourselves. The Public is invited. Doors Open at 3:00PM and we've got the place 'til 7:00PM. $11 Cover Charge includes Complimentary Appetizers to get us started. We have our own bar, restrooms and servers, so once you get down there, you're all set. Remember, the lower level Cellar has it's own entrance, and there's no connection between the main dining room and our space. If you're at the main door please go about 40 feet downhill to enter. Remember when billionaire Robert Bigelow's operation, Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) funded MUFON's Field Investigations? Well, Richard Lang co-ordinated that effort, deciding how and when to deploy MUFON's quick-response STAR Team. The acronym for the Bigelow project was SIP for STAR Impact Project. Lang's new book UFO Investigation: The Methodology for a New Age chronicles his insights into UFOs and the SIP project. His background as a pilot, Special Deputy with the U.S. Marshal Service, Airport Liaison with TSA within Homeland Security, and former Chief Investigator for Virginia MUFON gives Lang a unique perspective. Richard Lang is featured in the new Skinwalkers at the Pentagon book. Norm Gagnon has put some eerie investigations between covers in his first book! Norman R. Gagnon brings us his recent book PARA-URBAN DETECTIVE a memoir: True cases from the files of a paranormal investigator. A former Virginia licensed private detective with 15 years as a field investigator with the MUFON VA, Norman Gagnon has investigated otherworldly reports that have both spellbound and anguished countless eyewitnesses. His artist's eye has led him to render and bring to life countless UFO sightings. Norm's book is a window into a world of strange and unexplained sightings. Over the course of 25 plus years, he has investigated real haunted places, UAPs, and other extraordinary incidents that just don’t fit precisely into any paranormal category. Mady Tobias helps others find their place in the universe with her work with ERT. Madeleine Tobias is our own ERT (Experiencer Resource Team) member. She's qualified as a nurse and a psychotherapist, and as a retired mental health professional she's been working with MUFON since late 2016. Jumping into MUFON with both feet has led Mady to write an autobiographical take on her life, Dogs, God and UFOs. Let's hear what's on her mind with her work with the closest of encounters.
