Hello all - We are in desperate need to rehome our chihuahua/dachshund mix. She is one year old, spayed, and has her puppy shots as well as her first canine influenza vaccine (there’s one more that needs to be completed). Unfortunately, we bit off more than we could chew when we recently adopted her. She is not socialized, nor is she potty trained. She is very fearful of everything, but if you know how to work with dogs who have been through trauma, then I think she has a lot of potential. She has not bitten/nipped at all, but she is definitely afraid and has a lot of growing to do and will need extensive training and behavior modifications from someone who really knows what they are doing. We do not know how she is with other animals, as we just recently adopted her. There’s a lot of info I can give, so if you are interested, please reply to this post.
