Join us for drinks and appetizers and learn about all the exciting volunteer opportunities coming up at The Dole! 1865 - Charles Dole had a vision for the mansion and this area1922 - Eliza Ringling's vision shapes the Crystal Lake Country Club, annex addition, and Gates community 2002 - The Crystal Lake Community has a vision and saves the Dole for community enjoyment in a natural and historical setting2022 - The Dole - We continue to embrace our past while forging our futureJoin us as we continue the legacy of being visionaries for this beatuiful building, land, and community!Do you enjoy designing, collaborating, planning events, seeking sponsorships, gardening, or working at events by helping with setup, cleanup, registration, or serving drinks all while protecting and preserving the grounds and historical building? Then there is something for you at The Dole! We have many opportunities, from day of volunteers to our standing committees, committed to beautifying The Dole inside and out. We are currently focusing on our summer event series, which includes music outdoors on the property, and our garden committee, dedicated to enhancing all outdoor spaces. We are also building teams and committees around Winter events and the indoor music venue. All events at The Dole are successful because of teams and committees of community members all working together to bring our visions to life and provide unique experiences to all who attend. Keeping all these exciting things in mind, we welcome you to join us for a volunteer meet and greet and happy hour on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, 5:30-7:30pm. Come in and check out the recent improvements to the old Listening Room, now Eliza’s, in the basement of The Dole. Drinks and appetizers will be provided. If you are not able to attend, please let us know and we will send you information via email to see what might strike your interest. Bring a friend or two, on April 5th, and learn how you can get involved, have fun, meet new people, and give back to your community and the rich history of The Dole!
