Hiring a Maintenance Helper w/TWIC. Location: East Houston Starting pay: $18.00 Schedule: • 40 Hours/OT • Day shift • Monday to Sunday depending on schedule given Job Description: Maintenance Technician must have a minimum of 4 years experience working in a maintenance or repair role. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable. Must have mature work habits and good communication skills. Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate production schedules and equipment downtime. Job Skills: Knowledgeable in the function and preventive maintenance of all building systems: including; plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Able to operate, common hand tools, power tools, and yard equipment. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Organized and detail-oriented, able to follow process requirements with a systematic approach. Candidate must demonstrate: * Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, light electrical, carpentry, and painting * Locksmith skills a plus * Honest, hardworking, takes initiative * Good verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and strong analytical thinker * Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work weekends and nights Qualifications: • General maintenance: 4 years (Required) • Must have a TWIC • Must pass Criminal background check (Required) • Must pass Drug Test • Must have basic tools • Must have reliable transportation License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Please submit your resume.
