A pre-departure orientation session focused on exploring identity in the context of study abroad. Open to WFU students only. This is a pre-departure orientation for WFU students studying abroad during summer or fall of 2022 with a focus on identity in a study abroad context. (All students studying abroad are required to attend one pre-departure orientation. This is one of the options.) The first 20 minutes will cover health and safety, registration and billing, COVID-19, travel documentation, technology considerations, and cultural adjustment. The final 30-40 minutes will focus on various topics, activities, and strategies for navigating identity exploration abroad, and the support resources available to students.
