This is event is sponsored by Emory's Office of Belonging and Community Justice and Emory's Office for Racial and Cultural Engagement. Emory University's African Students Association presents its annual benefit gala, Taste of Africa at Fox Theater on Friday the 8th of April, 2022. All proceeds will be going to Sanku. The show is themed 'AFROTIQUE' begins at 7:00pm. Reception begins at 6pm. Come experience mouth-watering African cuisine as well as spoken word, musical and dance performances from Abyssinian Experience, Zuri, AHANA, Persuasion and more. Fashion exhibitions from MyObioma and ShopEZ Clothing. Shuttles will run from both Woodruff Circle and Starvine Parking to the Fox Theatre and back. First shuttles will depart at 5:30 pm to the Fox, and the last shuttle will be leaving the Fox Theatre at 11 pm.
