A workshop where attendees will learn to create local candles and learn hand lettering basics to letter onto the labels. Beverages provided. "Wick: A Candle Bar is a locally owned custom candle bar. We specialize in soy wax candles and other products you can fragrance. Guests are able to make their own custom scent blend of 2-3 fragrances from our 90+ fragrance options. Candlemaking Overview: When you arrive in the store you will be given a clipboard and begin smelling the different scents on our candle wall. Write down all of your favorite scents and don't worry about what goes well together! You will sit down with our ScentTenders at the bar and they will help you pare your list down to 2-3 scents for your candle. Once you have your scent combo selected, you get to mix the oils to your liking. Candles will take 90 minutes to cool before they are ready to leave the shop." Lettering Overview: Learn the cheapest, easiest, and most fun way to write beautifully with the craziest of instruments: a marker. In this workshop you will learn: -Parts of a letter -How to hold your marker -A full uppercase and lowercase alphabet -Setting up grids and guides -1:1 Feedback per attendee will be provided. What you will receive: -1 Crayola Marker -20 Page workbook with full alphabet, parts of letter, grids and guides. -Label to decorate - A drink of choice Three-hour long workshop: 90 minutes: Learn the process to make your candle 60 minutes: Leran the process of lettering 30 minutes: Practice, play and questions *If you cannot make it to the workshop, a digital copy of the workbook will be sent to your email address *21 and up, to drink, we will ID ****Due to the personalized nature of this workshop, there are NO REFUNDS!
