Protecting children from abuse and maltreatment requires everyone understanding how to recognize, respond, and report any form of maltreatment a child may experience. FIRST Response Training is for those working with and around children and covers what to do when a child disclosed maltreatment.
The FIRST Process teaches three critical components:
How to recognize signs and symptoms of abuse and maltreatment.How to listen and respond to a child's need.How to effectively and accurately report any form of maltreatment to authorities. This 2 hour interactive training will give you the tools necessary to respond to a child that discloses abuse to you.
