Description
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough's annual farmers market will pull up stakes in 2022 and move to a new spot along East Main Street.
The 2022 farmers market season will begin in June at Congregation B'nai Shalom, 117 East Main St. That's about a mile northeast up Main Street from the longstanding location at the Congregational Church, 57 West Main St.
"We are so grateful for the years we have been at the Congregational Church, but parking and pedestrian safety has been a major concern that we needed to address. We are hoping this location will provide our vendors and customers with ample parking in order to visit the market, and we hope you will come check us out this summer!" the market said in a social media post on Tuesday.
The new location offers a traffic circle for food trucks and a full parking lot behind the temple. The market itself will be located in the grassy area near the intersection of Steven Road and East Main Street.
The 2022 market will happen every Thursday beginning June 23 from 2 to 6 p.m.
