Description
Seeking a percussionist/drummer to play with skilled accordionist/composer.
While I do want you to play a trap set well, I also very much need you to play smaller percussion instruments well.
My experience is that most gig venues can't accommodate a full trap set and I want the versatility of someone who
can approach percussion in various ways and to be able to travel light when needed.
Please don't respond if you only play trap set and don't also play various other percussion instruments.
My intention is to gig around Seattle in duo or trio ensemble and record my 108+ original compositions.
My originals and covers include a wide variety of genres including Latin, Tango, Bossa, Klezmer,
Swing Jazz, folk, pop, and a bit of rock. I am not, however, looking for a 'rock drummer'.
Wanting strong players who can read charts (and, at times, improvise/solo).
A+ if you are also female-identified or otherwise queer. You must be queer-friendly.
Please describe your musical abilities and musical background. Also, tell me about your current life situation
(where you live, whether you drive, your age, what your availability could be for rehearsals and gigs, etc.).
If you provide good info, then I will respond to any questions you have.
If you do not provide requested info, then I won't respond.
I'm an extremely nice and friendly person who knows what she needs musically.
I want to play w/ other nice, friendly, warm people. If you're sullen, moody, chronically angry... you're not for me.
Thanks. I wish you the best in finding the best musical match-up.
