With no time limits to child abuse, the Captain who whined about not knowing where his son was for years to get pity from women, when really he was asked the child's whole life to be a father to him, has ignored the fact that HE could pursue justice for his son being abused at the tiny age of 2 who was lucky he survived. Reported and hospital documented he did and does nothing for over 30 years. With no child support paid for twelve years then shorted by hiding second and third jobs. He asked the child for money for living there after Mom paid to send him to the Captain as a young adult who had been in a coma where the Captain believed he was to die per doctors and did not visit him. The Captain is no hero people. He is a dead beat dad who refuses to do the right thing and I imagine the tax records hid the income too to avoid garnishment. This is his legacy. He lends no support when his child suffers with pain. He makes no normal effort to send cards or call anyway or ask to visit his son like a person who loves their child does not give up on them. His child just wants his love. The Captain is selfish, full of lies and hurts the one he should protect most.
