Barkwells has 8 cabins on 9 acres in Mills River. The majority of the work will be at the Mills River property. Job Responsibilities: Maintaining the property, the vacation homes, and work equipment in top condition. Part-time maintenance daily tasks include hot tub maintenance, mowing, weed eating, trash collection, and light maintenance repairs. Daily work varies based on guest check-in and check-out schedule, and the schedule includes weekends. Job Requirements: Pleasant and respectful with staff, guests, and their dogs. Dependable and able to work independently. References and background check required. Requires some weekends. Flexible – able to accomplish last-minute work requests from the office and housekeeping. Attention to detail and taking pride in your work are a must. Use of smartphone to access scheduling and task list. References and background checks are required for employment. This position is 25-30 hours per week, including weekends, plus scheduled on-call availability as needed.
